Burning Turpentine
Note to self, don’t do that again. I thought it would be interesting to see how well turpentine burns. I couldn’t get it lit easily. I dropped the match in and it just went out. On the third attempt I got it lit, the flame was tiny, but not for long, in less than 30 seconds it became about 20cm and gave off loads of smoke. Luckilly I keep burning things in a tin so I can put the lid on if it starts going crazy (safety first).
