I hate giving presentations
Friday, December 17th, 2004 at 8:04 pmThis afternoon I had to lead a discussion about “Business Intelligence”. It was terrible. It was one of those modules that I am sure only got put in the degree to weed out people with technical skills and ensure that only management-types get degrees. So that the PHBs can still look down on techies and say “I’m better than you. I have a degree.”
Today a wrote a wake up script. It beeps when someone new logs into the server. Hopefully this will stop me from being lonely over Christmas (Termisoc people gone home for holidays
