The university has decided to streamline their coursework submission procedure by having students stick barcodes on their work. Unfortunately they’re going to start charging for sheets of barcodes on Monday. I had a odd dream, I found a “really good excuse” lying around on the floor. In the same way that in RPGs that you often find random items sitting around for no apparent reason and then the game announces “you have found <item>”.

It’s my birthday today and I spending it working on coursework that is due in on Friday so that I can hopefully get it finished and be able to go out with the Termisoc guys tomorrow. I will probably be found hanging around the 24hr open access armed with a plentiful supply of caffeinated mints. [...]

What I’ve been doing…
On Friday Me, Skippy and Ben went to Exeter for the <name removed> meeting. Stuck around too late and got the car locked in the bloody car park. D’Oh! Had to call out the security guard to open the gate which cost £30.
I missed the Termisoc guys over Christmas. Seeing them again [...]

I’ve installed Firefox on my Linux partition also now. I realised I liked it better than the Mozilla suite after using it a lot on Windows over the past few days.
The SuSE partition now has apt4rpm on it too. I like apt-get it’s so easy.
apt-get install <shiny_new_software>
Then apt-get goes away and to get it and [...]

I noticed today the strangely theraputic action of picking when I was removing wallpaper from the bathroom. Why is it that people like picking at things? or is it just me?
