Bored with Gentoo

Yesterday I spent a load of my birthday money, on two more series of Star Trek TNG (two and four), Series 5 of Red Dwarf.

Broke some things today when I wiped the Debian install that I was trying to do on Neoseph. Debian took over GRUB and the computer didn’t like it when I formatted the partition Debian was installed on. I had to use Knoppix to get the SuSE partition back in control by re-writing the MBR.

I also got bored of the Gentoo on my laptop (Cloud) and replaced it with Debian. It looked horrible to start with because it didn’t think my screen could do 1024×768 I couldn’t find a way to change it in the GUI so I had to edit the XFree86 config file. The main reason that put me off using it before was because it looked really awful.

Skippy came around last night. He wondered why my wireless network was so paranoid (I’d rather be too paranoid than not paranoid enough).
