Monday, February 28th, 2005

I was trying to get a Java SSH client on my phone. It didn’t work, the connection kept dropping to the site as I was trying to download to my phone. The site is here. It’s GPLed. I hope you have more luck than I did

I’m also thinking of adding some opinion pieces somewhere around here.

Bye Bye Dead Rat

Friday, February 4th, 2005

I’m feeling particularly motivated today. I’m preparing a box to test my final year project on. It was running Dead Rat… umm I mean Red Hat 9.
First task, unplug peripherals from desktop box, plug them into other box.
Step two, Debian Sarge net install CD. I think I’ll go for the 2.6 kernel.
Next step. Partitioning. 5GB [...]

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

I was going to wait till I had written all about the random Termisoc trip to London before I wrote my next blog post, but to be honest my brain has declared all the memory of London too random to incorporate into reality.
