Laser Printer Rest in Pieces

Over a year ago I acquired a free second-hand laser printer. It was detected under Linux and looked to run OK, except that it had run out of toner. Being as I couldn’t afford the extortionate amount for a replacement toner cartridge I thought it’d be more fun to dismantle the thing and scrounge any interesting looking bits. I managed to extract several motors, some springs, a (is it “a” or “an”?) LCD, an assortment of screws, a laser, a fan and a pile of useful-looking cogs.

I also bought some new shoes today, I really hate buying shoes. My dislike of shoe shopping stems from my shoe size (42 or 43 depending on the style). I see shoes that I like but when I see them in my size they just don’t look right. My usual tactic when it comes to purchasing footwear is that new ones are bought when the old ones get holes in the bottom that let in water. My most expensive footwear is my walking boots.
