Why do all the bad things happen at once?

Firstly, on my way to see Skippy I realise I have a flat tyre on my scooter. Secondly, my phone just died (not just ran out of battery) so as well as not being able to phone anyone about the aforementioned flat tyre I also cannot get their number. So I have to push my bike through Swilly to my gran’s house, catch a taxi home and take my parent’s car to go down to the job centre to sign on. Then I realise I’ve forgotten the application form that I was meant to post. I go to Skippy’s house to see if anyone was in (because I was really feeling miserable and annoyed and needed cheering up and also Skippy wanted my shoes for fancy dress) and no-one was there at all which is very unusual so I leave the shoes and go back home and pick up the letter I had to post. Then as soon as I posted the letter, it started raining really heavilly and I got soaked which was annoying because rain makes my hair really greasy and I had only just washed my hair a few hours ago.
