I went up to London this weekend for the London Perl Workshop which was run by the London Perl Mongers. The journey there was a bit of a disaster but we finally got there.

Just had to take a picture of this beautiful firey sunset.

Perhaps I should set up a webcam just to capure the view of the sunset from the loft of my house.

I’ve been sorting through my wonderfully organised collection of photos and found these three, part of a 360° panoramic of Dartmoor that I took from the top of Cox Tor when I was out with Ruth and Ben. The rest of them I left out because they didn’t quite join up properly.

I moved the little Dell box onto my desk today. It looks cool and very colour co-ordinated with the rest of my stuff.
The box on the left is Lifestream, it’s my file server, notice the removable hard-drive bays. The case was originally white but I spray painted it, recently I re-did it because of scratches.

Heres a photo of the monitor I picked up in the carload of stuff Rich bought from the computer shop.

Unfortunately during testing it emmited a loud BANG!! So I think it’s dead. Oh well, to plan B, make it into a fishtank.

I have finally gotten around to putting the sides of the case back on to my file server. I took them off ages ago and spraypainted them because it had gotten scratched. They have been sitting around in the spare room where my parents were getting increasingly annoyed at them being there.
